Our involvement in the RC Nest retail parks, expansive department stores operating throughout Serbia, has been extensive, with notable contributions in Kraljevo, Vranje, Obrenovac, Niš, Kikinda, Prokuplje, and beyond. Our comprehensive scope of work included conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design for plumbing/building services and outer network infrastructure. This encompassed water supply (potable, firefighting, irrigation) and sewerage (wastewater, stormwater, groundwater) systems. In parallel, we provided crucial professional supervision services, ensuring the seamless implementation of designs and adherence to standards.

Each project posed unique challenges, ranging from occasional high groundwater levels to addressing the absence of stormwater infrastructure. Mitigating these challenges involved discharging water to nearby rivers, necessitating the construction of appropriate structures shored into the river banks and hydrological analysis of river flows.

We also contributed to the development and enhancement of public infrastructure to meet the demands of these edifices, including water supply and sewerage main pipelines near the buildings and access roads. While the majority of the design focused on shell & core, we also played a key role in providing fit-out services for established brands within the department stores, including Jysk, Deichmann, FormaIdeale, Lidl, and others.
