Föhr
As one of the key members of the Design&Build team involved in the expansion of Ferring Pharmaceuticals' production facility in Kiel, we undertook a pivotal role in the fit-out phase of construction of Building Föhr. Our focus within the "black media" realm involved providing consulting and project design services for inner water supply, encompassing potable and process/technological needs, as well as comprehensive sewerage solutions covering sanitary, stormwater, and process/technological requirements.
This endeavor was marked by a multitude of challenges, stemming from the diverse demands of our client, stringent health standards, international regulations, and the sheer scale and complexity of the building. Designed to accommodate a range of functions across different stages and levels, including administration offices, changing rooms, technical spaces, QC, CMF and microbiology laboratories, logistic centers, storages, social rooms, and toilets, the project required meticulous attention to detail.
The design phase, a culmination of extensive hydraulic calculations, modeling, schematics, and graphics, exemplifies our dedication to precision and innovation in addressing the intricate hydraulic needs of large-scale industrial facilities. The Föhr Building project stands as a testament to our ability to seamlessly integrate diverse requirements, ensuring both functionality and compliance on an international scale.
